These TRIACs operate in quadrants I, II, and III, and offer high performance in applications requiring high commutation capability. The QJxx16xHx alternistor TRIACs feature up to 600V voltage capability, 16A I_T(RMS), 200A surge capability at 60Hz half cycle, and a 150°C high junction temperature. These TRIACs are halogen-free, RoHS-compliant, and recognized to UL 1557 for 2500V_RMSas electrically isolated semiconductor devices. Typical applications include heater control, AC solid-state relays, light dimmers, and motor speed control.
