TAS5780M Stereo Class-D Amplifier

Texas Instruments TAS5780M Stereo Class-D Amplifier is a high-performance, closed-loop Class-D amplifier with an integrated audio processor with 96kHz architecture. To convert from digital to analog, the device uses a high-performance DAC with Burr Brown™ audio technology. The device requires only two power supplies. One D_VDD for low-voltage circuitry and one P_VDD for high-voltage circuitry. The device is controlled by a software control port using standard I²C communication. An optimal mix of thermal performance and device cost is provided in the 90mΩ r_DS(on) of the output MOSFETs. The thermally enhanced 48-Pin TSSOP also provides excellent operation in the elevated ambient temperatures found in modern consumer electronic devices.
