Bourns TBU^® Circuit Protection Devices block transients in nanoseconds through a current-disconnecting mechanism instead of diverting or shunting the surge to ground. These high-speed surge protection components are designed to protect against faults caused by short circuits, AC power cross, induction, and lightning surges. Bourns Gas Discharge Tube (GDT) for RS-485 Ports is designed to meet industry standards on RS-485 port interfaces and to provide circuit protection in noisy and harsh electrical environments. TBU®-CA High-Speed Protectors
